Just imagine, Marcellino’s fresh fettuccine or tortelloni with shaved truffles and a glistening sheen of sweet creamy butter melting in your mouth—or truffles shaved over a bed of his carpaccio filet drizzled with more of the divine truffle oil. Heavenly, just heavenly. If you like, you may call me to reserve some for your party and Marcellino will happily tuck these precious jewels away for you.

Five Course Wine Tasting Dinner

Marcellino Ristorante closes for the month of August, as is tradition in much of Europe, so we have planned one last hurrah to close the season with gusto.
The wine tasting dinner is held on the Kings & Queens table which heralds only 18 special guests in the Chef’s Table Room. The velvet curtains close for privacy, the lights dimmed and candelabra lit!! Chef Marcellino prepares a 5 course Food Tasting delicacy. Each course has a presentation of two tastings. The extraordinary dinner begins with a cold antipasto tasting followed by an equally intriguing hot antipasto course. Chef Marcellino’s handmade pastas arrive and then with great flourish the entrée is served. And yes…. There’s still room for his luscious desserts! Dario (President and owner of Classico Wines) exquisitely and quite perfectly pairs his luscious Italian wines to each of the 5 courses.

Chef Marcellino pairs three different bubblies (Italian sparkling wines) with fresh from the sea fare. Thin slices of ever so slightly marinated Ahi Tuna with a hint of orange- Manila Clams on the half shell brimming with just harvested freshness – or perhaps diced salmon tartare finished with a lemon and balsamic blend then sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds? And each tasting balanced with a wonderful complimentary sparkling wine. $35 per person

Chef Marcellino conducts a tasting extravaganza of three imported cheese and wine pairings. Each cheese is carefully selected and married with a drizzling of house-made balsamic reduction or a dollop of seasonal honey or a special imported jam or fruit. And of course, each is paired with the perfect complimentary wine to complete the harmony of these extraordinary flavors. $35 per person
